First post

The world will NOT end in 2012!
This is the very first statement I'm emphasizing on this blog. If you have a close contact or belong to any group of people who believe otherwise, divorce yourself from them immediately. This type of thinking destroys ambition, productivity, and any positive outlook you may have for the future. Homo sapiens have endured many catastrophes and we're still here. Storms will rage as they always have, earthquakes will shake our confidence, and volcano's will cause concern, but the glorious sun will always be there for us after the cleansing.
2012 merely marks a time of relationship between our sun, the earth, and the center of the galaxy -- an alignment and very unique event in one respect, an event that only happens once every 26,000 years. In another respect, this event happens once every 120 million years (give or take a few). Whew! One helliva celebration coming up.
I do not believe any special occurrence will be observable on December 21, 2012 because we are already experiencing the 2012 changes. In these matters, time is short for man but cosmic time is so long and drawn out that we never notice the big changes. So, be patient, make yourself aware, and watch the heavens. Keep looking up!
On this blog, I promise to be as truthful as I know, as open-minded as I can be, and will always keep one foot in science, because science is the great stabilizer for the mind of man, a mind that tends to drift off into the Land of Ignorance, never to return to a reality nursed along by the men and women of science.
